China's first indigenous PWR, a two-loop 300 MWe plant derived from naval reactor work rather than from a Western licence. Qinshan 1 was the demonstration unit; the rest of the series went to Pakistan as Chashma 1 to 4, which for two decades were the only nuclear exports China had made. Small, and the reason China had a design of its own to develop at all.
