AP300 is a light water-cooled reactor design from Westinghouse Electric Company rated at 300 MWe. The developer is engaging a regulator but has not submitted an application.

A scaled-down AP1000 reusing its components, fuel and passive safety systems, which is the argument for it: nothing in it is new. Westinghouse targeted design certification in 2027 with a first unit operating in 2033. Four units are named for North Teeside in the tracking data, all announced, none permitted.
