CP0
The CP0 is a Generation II pressurised water reactor from Framatome. 4 units are operating and 0 are under construction, out of 6 on record.
The first French 900 MWe series, built at Fessenheim and Bugey under a Westinghouse licence. CP0 units have a separate safety-injection and containment-spray system per unit rather than the shared arrangement adopted from CP1 onward, and their containment is a single prestressed concrete wall with a steel liner. Fessenheim 1 and 2 were shut in 2020 as a political commitment rather than a technical judgement, leaving the Bugey units to carry the series.
