Combustion Engineering built PWRs with two loops and two very large steam generators rather than three or four smaller ones, and with no separate pressuriser spray from the cold leg. Calvert Cliffs, Millstone 2, St. Lucie, Waterford and Palo Verde's predecessors are all CE plants. The company was absorbed into ABB and then Westinghouse, so the design line ends here in the West and continues in Korea.
