RITM-200S
RITM-200S is a light water-cooled reactor design from Rosatom rated at 106 MWe. Nuclear construction has begun.
The seagoing variant of the RITM-200, derived from the icebreaker reactors rather than from a land design, and the successor to the Akademik Lomonosov. Two units are under construction for Cape Nagloynyn on the Chukotka coast to power the Baimskaya mining project, at 106 MWe each, roughly three times the Lomonosov's output per unit. Russia is the only country building floating nuclear plants and now has more of them under construction than every Western microreactor design combined has units of any kind.
