CP1
The CP1 is a Generation II pressurised water reactor from Framatome. 20 units are operating and 0 are under construction, out of 20 on record.
The second and largest French 900 MWe batch, and the design that made the French build programme work. CP1 moved the safety-injection and spray systems into a shared arrangement between paired units and standardised the layout hard enough that a crew could move between sites. Twenty units are operating, at Blayais, Dampierre, Gravelines, Tricastin and Saint-Laurent.
